You do not need to find something wrong with every photo. You need enough information to know whether this item works for the purchase you planned.
Shopping precautions before payment and shipping
Check the exact item and route before paying. Save the seller link, selected variant and useful measurements; do not substitute a similar-looking item without reviewing it as a new choice. Keep a separate budget for international delivery and any optional services you select.
Once the item arrives, make the unresolved question specific. Ask for a missing view or discuss return eligibility before submitting a parcel. A community GL comment does not confirm your size, and a checklist tick does not send an account decision.
Use the order or parcel reference in your support request. Keep passwords and payment details out of public discussions.
Choose the next step
- Accept: the order matches and the details important to you are clear enough. Continue to packing when you are ready.
- Ask: a particular option, area or measurement is still uncertain. Request the missing information before deciding.
- Discuss a return or exchange: the received item is wrong, damaged or unsuitable. Ask what is possible for this order, including deadlines and costs.
Compare measurements that mean the same thing
Lay a similar garment flat without stretching it. Use the seller’s endpoints: chest width across the laid-flat item, body length from the stated top point to hem, or sleeve length between named seams. A flat width and a circumference are different measurements.
Record both the number and the method. A letter size alone does not tell you the cut, length or ease. For elastic areas, ask whether the figure is relaxed or stretched.
A shoe label is only one clue
Read the seller’s size guidance and compare it with a pair that fits. If you request an internal or insole measurement, say which part and how it should be measured. Length alone does not describe toe shape, width or instep space.
Separate a visible issue from a preference
A torn seam, missing component or wrong option is different from deciding that you dislike a colour or cut. Describe what you see and what you expected, then ask about the actual return terms. Do not assume every reason receives the same outcome.
Raise the question before international shipping
Use the order reference and the selected option. For example: “I ordered navy size M; the received label appears to show L. Please confirm the size and the available exchange process before packing.” Ask about the seller’s eligibility, deadline, domestic return cost and any agent charges.
Wait for the answer before including the disputed item in a parcel. Keep the written decision and any resulting refund or exchange record.
Keep community shorthand in perspective
GL and RL mean “green light” and “red light” in community comments. They describe someone’s view of what is visible. They do not accept or reject your item inside Hoobuy, and a popular comment is not a guarantee of authenticity or fit.
